I read somewhere that the most punk thing you can do these days is to give people hope. To fight the tide of cynicism not with louder anger, but with light.

Fraenni does that. She tilts people toward what’s still good, even when it’d be easier to sink into the opposite. She isn’t naïve—she’s sharp, quick, and I’ve sat through enough long talks with her to know she won’t hand you easy answers. We don’t always agree. We don’t need to.

But she keeps her compass steady on what can grow, not just what’s broken. And that kind of hope—fierce, stubborn, deliberate—might just be the most radical thing a person can give.
